Heatsinks

Heat Sinks

We offer a widely of standardized heat sinks, heat pipes, fans, plastic injection molded parts as well as customized versions for your very specific needs. We are pleased to provide our customers with one source consulting and final production for any manufactured part needs.

Skive fin

Skived Fin

The machining process for skived fin heat sinks uses cutting tools and a controlled slicing technique to manufacture heat sinks from a solid block of aluminum or copper. This process can be used to create heat sinks with thinner blades than are possible with extruded heat sinks. However due to the thin fins of this type of heat sink, greater care must be taken when handling them. Benefits of Skived Fin Heat Sinks include:

– High aspect ratio
– Thin fin
– Low tooling cost
– Easy and inexpensive to prototype
– Ideal thermal connectivity with the heat sink base
– Unidirectional flow
– Single piece construction
Fnas

Fans & Blowers

We offer custom design and standard DC brushless fans and blowers commonly available in 5V and 12V that are often used on fan sink which can be used on BGAs, VGAs and CPU coolers used on fan heat sinks which can be used on BGAs, VGAs and CPU coolers. The fans are most commonly available in 5V and 12V.

Plastic Injection

 Plastic Injection Molding

We provide the highest level of quality and service for your close-tolerance plastic injection molded components. We offer the latest state of the art molding equipment, ranging in size from 90 to 530 tons. Our new machines are computer controlled and process monitored. All machines have dedicated mold temperature controllers, desiccant material dryers and material loaders. We process all thermoplastic material from commodity materials such as polyethylene and engineering thermoplastics.

 Folded Fin

Folded Fin

Folded fin heat sinks are manufactured by bending aluminum or copper sheets into a variety of fins which are later bonded to base. This type of heat sink allows for the base and the fins to be manufactured from different materials and can be an excellent choice when you require a thin fin of light weight, differing materials for fin and base, and a low tooling cost.

 Bonded Fin

Bonded Fin

Our bonded fin heat sinks are manufactured from either aluminum or copper metal sheets, or by using an extrusion process. Using either epoxy or a solder/braze process, they are then bonded to the base. Each process is designed to meet specific needs and our knowledgeable consulting is always available to answer any manufacturing questions you may have. Bonded fin heat sinks are generally designed for high power application with low thermal resistance. Forced air cooling is required for these products.

 Die Casting

Die Casting

Die cast heat sinks are perfect if you need a custom designed aluminum heat sink. They are manufactured by forcing liquid aluminum under high pressure into re-usable steel molds. This is often an ideal solution when you require a more complex design in high volume and with lower thermal conductivity.

 Extrution

Extrusion

Our standard aluminum heat sinks are the perfect solution when you have both low cost needs and fast to market requirements and are available in either standard or customized typed. An aluminum block is pushed or drawn through a die to create a straight or crosscut finished product. Each is designed to meet a specific need, and our experts can help you decide which is best for your application. Extrusion heat sinks can be a great choice when you require a low tooling cost, a low cost per piece, and little or no secondary machining.

 Precision

Precision Machining

We utilize the latest multi-axis CNC center, milling, lathe, EDM and grinding machine to provide you complex and high precision heatsinks to a very high tolerance. The tolerance held depends on the machine but most precision CNC machined will not have a problem holding a tolerance of 0.002” or 0.005 mm. We deliver affordable quality machined parts.

 Heatpipe

Heatpipe Assembly

We mainly use sintered or powered copper heat pipes.

– Under any kind of orientation: horizontal, gravity-aided or against gravity.
– Can handle high heat flux density(the heat load divided by the heated area)
– Great potential to increase thermal performance with wick structure to accommodate the increasing CPU thermal dissipation demand.
– Consistent thermal performance
– Optimal for high volume production – Can produce complex design
 Forging

Precision Forging

Our precision forging process involves aluminum or copper that is pressed, pounded or squeezed under great pressure into high strength pars known as forging die. The process is normally (but no always) performed at a high temperature by Preheating the metal before it is worked. This process can produce any fin type and high aspect ratio heatsink. Forged parts generally require future processing to produce the finished part.

 Stamped fin

Stamped fin

Stamped fin heat sinks are manufactured by the application of extreme pressure to a piece of aluminum or copper to produce fins of the desired height, thickness and shape, which are then bonded to the heat sink metal base. Stamped fin heat sinks are often recommended when you require a thin fin with limited thermal performance. They are characterized by a high tooling cost and low cost per piece.

 BGA

BGA

We offer a wide range of BGAs and board level heatsinks. Non-standard parts can be delivered quickly and at a competitive price.

 Board level

Board Level

In addition to all of the heat sink varieties listed above, we also carry a wide range of BGA and TO-220 heat sinks, which are normally available for immediate delivery. Contact us for immediate inventory availability, if you require non-standard parts, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide them quickly and at globally competitive pricing.

Cold Plate

Cold Plate

We utilizs a range of technologies and round or flat tubing to produce performance-fin cold plated with a liquid-cooled chassis. Designed with the increasing demand for compact designs in mind and with an accompanying requirement for power densities, this type of manufacturing satisfies the increasing demand for compact cooling requirements. Utilized by fields as diverse as high-powered electronics, lasers, power drives and medical equipment, and often supplied to the military and aerospace industries, cold plate technology is the perfect choice for your high=power requirements. If you are faced with high watt densities and air-cooled heat sinks are inadequate, liquid-cooled cold plates offer and ideal high-performance heat transfer solution alternative.

CPU Cooler

CPU Cooler

We manufacture both standard or customized CPU cooler products that word with most AMD and Intel sockets. Our knowledgeable experts will help you determine whether your requirements call for specific customization or not.

Vapor

 Vapor Chamber

Vapor chambers can provide thermal performance levels that are far superior to traditional solid metal heat spreaders and are also characterized by lower weight and height. Thermal spread resistance with vapor chambers is extremely low and thermal resistance is far lower as well.

Vapor Chambers also allow for higher component heat densities and TDPs while maintaining safe operating temperatures, thereby providing extended life and reliability for components and associated products.
